4K movie / Beauty retouch

foton developed special movie retouching techniques that won’t damage a detail of material,
and don’t use “blur skill” for it that is why you feel more real.
And also we work on 4K data without compressing 4K into HD.

This model already had the natural beauty.
However,we could improve it more to perform retouching, free transform, and color correction in the movie.

We updated some other movies “Digital Make-up”,“HD retouch” and so on.
Please feel free to watch our works.

Videorative Portrait of Randall Okita

Painting a Videorative portrait (a generative, narrative and interactive video portrait) starts with collecting personal videos of the person portrayed, tagged by him/her with relevant concepts and descriptions. Then, using a custom developed tool, the artist "paints with meanings" and generates a video portrait, subtitled with generative personal narratives. In the interactive installation version of the work, the viewer can "navigate" through the subject's mind, opening his/her video memories, accessing their thoughts and revealing hidden connections between the meanings, using real time access to Wikipedia to infer related emotional states. These "data visualizations" create new and unexpected interpretations of the portrait.

The subject portrayed can add more video memories, tags and descriptions to “increase the likeness” of the portrait over time, all his/her life, creating a never-ending collection of personal documentaries.

Videorative portraits are the result of my experiments to build a more “realistic” contemporary portrait of the physical and the psychological. A comment on the art of portrait painting. A visual metaphor of the memory, heavily distorted, chaotic, fragmented, obsessively replayed. A window to the subject's personal experience and intimate world. A picture of memories. A map of emotions.

My immense gratitude to filmmaker Randall Okita for accepting the challenge of exposing himself in these portraits.

Genesis

Track: Detritus "Haunted (remix by Niveau Zero)"
Taken from Detritus's album "Things Gone Wrong" (adn121) , remixed by Niveau Zero
originally released by Ad Noiseam
adnoiseam.net

In 2010, scientists succeeded in recreating a miniature version of the Big Bang.
Within a few years, some of the universe's deepest secrets may be unlocked.

Genesis is another self-initiated personal project that I've written, designed and animated single handedly. It's a 3D short film with a story that revolves around a machine that has the power of creating new, miniature universes. By controlling the universe rotation, it can speed up the time and evolution of the miniature worlds, and with the help of a fancy search engine it can pin point and extract terrestrial planets. Well, it's not very scientifically correct by any means.. Or is it..? You might live in a manufactured miniature world..

Anyway, what would mankind do if they possessed the power of creating new worlds? Probably use it for creating some kind of decorative snow globe. Guaranteed gift of the year.

Well, it's not all science fiction, I actually got inspired after reading some interesting articles about the European science agency CERN, who designed the world's biggest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider. This accelerator shoot beams around a freezing 27km concrete ring underground near Geneva, smashing atoms together in search of the elusive "God particle" believed present at the Big Bang. Since it began operating at the end of March 2010, CERN engineers and physicists have created billions of miniature versions of the Big Bang, revealing fundamental insights into the nature of the cosmos.

Also, at Lancaster University in UK, physicists unraveling the secrets of how to build a universe. In fact, they have already formed one, or something very much like it. This scientific breakthrough lies in the bottom of a chamber no larger than a pinky finger, filled with helium and cooled to 0.0003 degrees Fahrenheit above absolute zero.

Vancouver - Testing the Canon 7D

Equipment used: 7D w/ 17-55mm 2.8IS, Glidecam HD-2000, and.......rollerblades :)

Color Correction was done in Color and I used the "super-flat" custom profile to help increase the dynamic range for post. 100% 720p 60 conformed to 24p.

I included a bunch of clips featuring moire to demonstrate what you can/can't get away with when shooting deep focus shots. Thanks for watching!

Lowlight 7D Test.

Shown in the video is my friend Adam who let me film him walking around etc.. Thanks dude!

All unrehearsed guerrilla style improv shots of me just testing ISO and shutter speeds etc.. and trying to achieve a grungy sci-fi look for a short film that I'm hoping to start soon.

Equipment: 7D, 17-55mm 2.8IS, Handheld Glidecam HD-2000, Rollerblades, and a minidisc condenser microphone plugged directly into the camera to see how well it would sound

1080p 24fps with one shot in there as 720p 60

Music was quickly put together in GarageBand

I' ll Remember You Forever (HD)

song in english :-)

How to say that I get broken in a thousand pieces
the tips of my bones?
That all the schemes in my life have gone wrong.
Now that all was perfect
And more than this,
You sucked my mind and talked [kindly] about the weight
of this little body of mine [Bebe, the singer, is a very thin woman]
that [her body] has become a river
of this little body of mine
that has become a river.

It's difficult opening my eyes
and I do it slowly
in the case you are still near here [to prevent seeing him. I couldn't translate it well but
that's the sense]
I keep your memory
as the best secret
It was so sweet having you inside me.

There's a piece of light
in this darkness
to lend me some peace.
Time calms everything:
the tempest and the calm.
Time calms everything:
the tempest and the calm.

I'll always keep: [the following is an enumeration of things she will keep]
the soft voice of the sea,
breathing again the rain that will fall
over this body [her body] and will wet
the flower that grows inside me,
and laughing again,
and every day, for an instant, thinking again in you

the soft voice of the sea,
breathing again the rain that will fall
over this body [her body] and will wet
the flower that grows inside me,
and laughing again,
and every day, for an instant, thinking again in you
